Important — Avoid Incorrect Operation

Incorrect operation typically involves the following two scenarios:

Continuing to pull the cord after the system has reached its limit cycle.
Continuing to pull in the opposite direction after both rails are already fully closed and in contact.

Under these conditions, the centre cord may experience sudden tension changes.
In a Day & Night system, when this occurs, it is unpredictable which cell of the upper honeycomb fabric will be affected, and this can easily result in a slip knot forming.
